Today’s Teen welcomes all teenagers to submit work. If your work is accepted for publication you will be notified via email. The publisher has the right to decline any material deemed unsuitable for the readers of Today’s Teen. The publisher also reserves the right to edit material. Please retain copies of all submissions, as Today’s Teen is not able to return any work.

Gain Real Life Experience...

Today’s Teen is the perfect place for you to gain experience & hone your creative writing skills. You’ll learn about dead lines, teamwork, & responsibility. You’ll learn basic sales, marketing & public relations strategies. You’ll also be able to save any work you’ve had published in the paper for your college or job portfolios.

Submission Guidlines...

For your work to be considered for publication in Today’s Teen or on our website, you must be between the ages of 13 -19 (or have publisher approval). Only original material or photographs & illustrations may be submitted. We do accept previously published work, if you have obtained written permission from the original source.

What to Submit...

Articles, editorials, features, creative work, opinions, poetry, fiction, non-fiction, book, music and movie reviews, short stories, political commentaries, family matters, health, fitness, school guidance issues, sports, college reviews, summer plans, psychological concerns, photos, cartoons, illustrations, interviews, upcoming events and anything else relating to teens.

Submit By Mail...

Send your work to Today’s Teen, 3003 Yamato Road C-8 #10077, Boca Raton, FL 33434, including your name, address, birthday, the name of your school and your email address on each submission. If submitting more than one piece of work, make sure each submission is sent on a separate sheet of paper, and include all your info on each page. All work needs to be typed or printed neatly on 81/2x11 paper. Do not staple or fold any photographs or artwork, and mark clearly on the outside of the envelope if you are sending photographs. Work cannot be returned.

Submit By Fax...

Fax your work with a cover sheet to (561) 865-1636. Work cannot be returned. Choose a Category... At the top of each submission, include a category or write a description you believe best suits your material, such as poetry, fiction, non-fiction, community service, teen finance, opinion, college reviews, etc. Please give your work a title – be it a photograph, an article, or poem.

Statement of Originality...

Be sure to include with each submission (mail or email) the following statement of originality: “I certify that the work I have submitted to Today’s Teen is my own original work.” Please include your name and the date of your submission.

To Submit Photographs, Illustrations or Artwork...

Send work as an attachment in jpeg form. Images should be no larger than 640x480 pixels. A statement of originality must be included with this work as well.
